We designed a digital first IT Strategy for the Greater Wellington Regional Council to help engage stakeholders more effectively. This was a radical change from the typical 200 page document format, shifting to a digital-first solution. Our approach was to create an interactive diagram that could be expanded to unpack the five levels of the IT strategy – from foundational issues through to increased insights and realtime analysis. The resulting tool was a fullscreen immersive experience that was well received by staff and stakeholders. Subsequent iterations have been developed to expand and evolve the strategy.
