Transpower owns and operates the national grid and are responsible for keeping the energy flowing to all New Zealanders – powering our cities, communities, farms, homes and businesses.
We have been working closely with Transpower to align their visual identity, publications and digital tools with their internal and external business strategies. We have helped shift the focus of their communications to a more human-centric positioning – ensuring that staff and stakeholders are represented.
The Transpower Annual Review is a yearly integrated report that is published digitally. The report was designed to showcase the work of Transpower in a modern, digital-first, interactive format. The publication was brought to life through infographics, people-centric imagery and data visualisations that combine to tell the Transpower story in an engaging way. An energy flow pattern was applied throughout the document to link all pages with a continuous energy flow.
The project was well received by Transpower and we continue to work with the team to expand on their new visual platform. We have recently designed a suite of resources for their Electrification Roadmap which aims to decarbonise transport and industry in New Zealand by 2035. Full case study coming soon.
