Pet Team is a pet accessory company with products ranging from bird feed to cat litter and covering seven categories – cat, dog, fish, bird, small animal, medical and premium. Foundry were tasked with creating a brand and packaging system that would stand out in a competitive and busy retail environment.
The Pet Team trust mark incorporates a heart symbol, communicating the bond between pet and owner. We identified the opportunity to take ownership of blue across the range and to use a colour curve on packs to define each pet category.
We created brand guidelines to define the colours, typefaces imagery style and to establish clear rules for packaging. This simplified the process of applying the brand across a large range of products. As part of the brand roll out we designed more than 200 packs for Pet Team.
Our brand strategy and design for Pet Team has catapulted their product range to number one in the pet accessories market within two years of brand launch.
