The First World War Inquiry Guides website is a collection of resources to help students gain insights into the First World War. The website is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, the National Library’s Services to Schools and the WW100 Programme Office.
Foundry were tasked with designing the portal website for the resources and the Maori medium site based on an established Information Architecture. We utilised powerful imagery of the Maori Battalion in combination with a bright colour palette to bring the website to life. We developed a Mangopare inspired pattern representing strength, agility and tenacious determination to engage with Maori audiences.
